Follow the steps below to get started with the product.

Step 1: Create your WithSecure Business Account

Step 1 - Creating a WithSecure™ Business Account

You need a WithSecure™ Business Account to access WithSecure™ Elements Security Center, which is the unified management platform for managing all WithSecure™ Elements products. There are two scenarios:

To be able to use Elements Identity Security, you first need to have Elements Endpoint Detection and Response configured. Please follow the steps in the Quick Start Guide for Elements Endpoint Detection and Response before moving on to Step 2 in this Guide.

Log in to the WithSecure™ Elements Security Center, using the existing credentials you have for Elements Endpoint Detection and Response.

After confirming you have a subscription to Identity Security, navigate to the Environment -> Cloud -> Detection and Response Tab, you can add a tenant.

The items below in bold italic are section headings in the Identity Security User Guide, where more detailed instructions are be found.

  • Review the Deployed infrastructure and prerequisites in the “WithSecure Elements Identity Security for Entra ID Overview” section.
  • Begin the onboarding by adding a Entra ID Tenant to Elements Security Centre in the “Onboarding Configuration section and download the onboarding script from the portal.
  • Prepare the Azure environment, by ensuring you have the required permissions to run the onboarding script in the “Preparing the environment” section.
  • Deploy the resources using the step-by-step instructions in the “Deploying resources” section of the guide.
  • Complete the post-deployment verification steps in the Post Deployment verifications
  • Return to the Elements Security Centre and add the connection string to connect Elements Security Cloud to the Entra ID tenant.
  • Now Elements Cloud is receiving the data from the Entra ID tenant, test that the detections are working using the Trigger a Broad Context Detection (BCD) section of the guide.
  • Close the onboarding session by following the “Finishing the onboarding” section.
  • Please refer to the “Troubleshooting” section if you experience any issues and raise a ticket to Customer Care if your issue is still not resolved.

There are no additional roles required to view Identity Security Broad Context Detections (BCDs).
