An Evening with Mikko Hyppönen

Mikko Hyppönen is a global security expert, speaker and author. He works as the Chief Research Officer at WithSecure and as the Principal Research Advisor at F-Secure. Mikko has written on his research for the New York Times, Wired and Scientific American and he appears frequently on international TV. He has lectured at the universities of Stanford, Oxford and Cambridge. He was selected among the 50 most important people on the web by the PC World magazine and was included in the FP Global 100 Thinkers list. Mikko sits in the advisory boards of t2 and Safeguard Cyber.

Olle is a veteran within the IT security industry, having devoted himself to both "breaking" as well as "building" security solutions for the past 25 years. As Technical Director, he is currently responsible for WithSecure’s global portfolio of services.

Olle is also a valued speaker at information security conferences and a co-founder of the SEC-T conference in Stockholm. He also co-hosts the popular Swedish language podcast Säkerhetssnack.

Albert is one of our resident NIS2-experts that has closely followed its development in the EU since the first draft was announced.

He has an IT Auditor background and over 5 years of experience with implementing and auditing ISO27001 security practices at organizations. He is often the CISO's trusted advisor on information security topics such as disaster recovery planning & exercises, supplier & vendor management, security assessments and internal audits. 

Albert also teaches security awareness for school children as part of a volunteering initiative.
