👉 Real-world testing
It evaluates protection capabilities against previously unknown malware. This is a multi-stage test that includes fetching the malicious sample via commonly used malware delivery methods, such as email attachments and web downloads.
👉 Prevalent malware testing
This uses larger collections of widespread and prevalent malware samples. The main purpose of this test is to evaluate whether tested products receive timely updates to cover widespread malware samples
