CYBERWAR

Malware: Cyberwar
Medium: Digital, aluminium

These art pieces are generated from the code of the Industroyer malware, which was used by Russia to cut power in Ukraine during the war. The images were created with a custom AI system developed by the artist. The system ran the malware in sandboxes, and code chunks were assigned English value names so they could be mapped to AI prompts. The prompts were fed to an image generating algorithm, combined with textures such as the map of Ukraine, resulting in the images seen here.
