WithSecure sets new standards for detection-to-alert ratio in latest MITRE Evaluation

In the latest evaluation, WithSecure once again performed to a high standard, particularly in the area of detection-to-alert ratio.

This year, MITRE offered two distinct adversary focus areas: Ransomware targeting Windows and Linux, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's targeting macOS.

The MITRE evaluations were created to evaluate the detection performance of different security products under specific attack scenarios simulated under similar, controlled conditions. These benchmarks can then help organizations to make well-informed decisions about their cyber security investments.

The 2024 MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations: Enterprise is its sixth round of testing and represents a new era of EDR product evaluation. As a result, smaller IT teams are now able to find useful and tangible insights to help them make informed decisions.
